NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR U.S. EPA BROWNFIELDS CLEANUP GRANT
FORMER DOW CHEMICAL SITE at 2000 WEST ST. - READING, OHIO

The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (The Port) is applying for a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant for funding of proposed remediation activities at the former Dow Chemical facility located at 2000 West Street in Reading, Ohio. The application will be submitted to the U.S. EPA on or before December 3, 2019.
A draft of the grant application, as well as the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) is available upon request to firstname.lastname@example.org. A public meeting regarding this application will be held on Wednesday, November 27th from 1pm – 2pm at the Reading Branch Library, located at 8740 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215, to discuss the grant application.
Public comments will be accepted at any time prior to and during the public meeting and until December 2, 2019 date - by email to email@example.com or 513.621.3000. Comments must be received and reviewed by Dec 2, 2019 in order to be incorporated into the final Cleanup Application in time for the deadline for submission on December 3, 2019.
