Veteran Port executive will continue leading The Port’s Public Finance practice

Cincinnati, OH, November 10, 2021 – The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (The Port) today announced its current Vice President of Public Finance, Todd Castellini, will take on the additional responsibilities of leading The Port’s Industrial Redevelopment efforts. Mr. Castellini was chosen to lead this work after an extensive national search.

Castellini has led The Port’s Public Finance work since 2016, expanding The Port’s expertise and relationships within the Greater Cincinnati business community, and strengthening The Port’s role in financing transformative economic development projects throughout Hamilton County.

“As we accelerate our industrial strategy and look for ways to increase our capital base, merging our industrial and public finance work under one leader makes good sense,” said Laura Brunner, President and CEO of The Port. “There are natural synergies between our industrial and public finance strategies which make Todd an ideal fit for this role,” Brunner added.

“I’m excited to blend my finance background with my passion for industrial real estate that delivers community and region-wide benefits,” Castellini said. “I look forward to jump starting this work by leveraging the relationships I already have in place with our key partners at the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and the Regional Economic Development Initiative, or REDI,” Castellini continued.

Prior to joining The Port, Castellini was a vice president at Fifth Third Bank for 16 years in a variety of client-focused positions.

Mr. Castellini is replacing Melissa Johnson, who left The Port in September after leading the organization’s industrial redevelopment work since 2011.
