As The Port’s Industrial Development Associate, Zach Imbus is responsible for project management, due diligence, remediation, demolition, and site work on multiple industrial sites, which include brownfields.  As a seventh-generation Cincinnatian, he is extremely passionate about Cincinnati and supporting The Port’s industrial revitalization strategy.

Zach has a diverse background in civil engineering, focusing on real estate.  Before joining The Port team, he was a project manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), serving as a civil/site practice consultant in the real estate market group.  His previous project experience included a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial land developments.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio and brings more than seven years of technical expertise and innovative problem-solving to The Port.

Zach graduated from The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  He also received a Land Surveying Certificate from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and a Real Estate Graduate Certificate from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business.

Zach is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable Program, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
