Vice President of Accounting and Financial Management
Richard Hudson joined the Redevelopment Authority in 2014 and was named a Vice President in 2017. As GCRA’s lead financial officer, Rick oversees all areas of financial administration, including cash flow management, budget preparation for the boards of GCRA and of its managed entities, and banker relations. He provides strategic analysis to the agency for capital management, prepares financial statements and annual reports required by the Ohio Auditor of State, develops agency procedures and has a key role in the internal controls and associated risk management activities that help safeguard GCRA programs and assets. In his 20+ year career, Rick has amassed broad financial accounting experience that includes fund accounting and debt covenant compliance and previously held positions of increasing responsibility at Cincinnati Bell and Student Loan Funding.
Rick holds an MBA from Xavier University and a BBA from Ohio University and has been an Ohio certified CPA since 1995.
