Muhammad “Saram” Waraich

Muhammad “Saram” Waraich joined The Port’s neighborhood team as a real estate development associate in 2022, specializing in housing initiatives. His primary responsibilities include project management for residential and commercial properties, grant writing, and market research. He plays a critical role in operations and construction management for the Homesteading & Urban Redevelopment Corporation (HURC), an Ohio 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and a managed entity of The Port. Additionally, Saram supports the Creating Affordable Real Estate (CARE) Homes Initiative, which is a key part of The Port’s overall strategy to increase access to homeownership.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Urban Development from DePauw University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Sullivan University, Kentucky.
