Real Estate Development Manager
Dan joined The Port as Real Estate Development Manager, bringing his expertise in economic development and complex real estate project execution to support neighborhood and regional revitalization across Hamilton County. His work focuses on advancing development projects from concept through implementation, balancing financial feasibility, environmental considerations, and stakeholder coordination to drive impactful, high-quality development.
Dan brings nearly a decade of economic development experience from Northeast Ohio, most recently as Director of Project Management at Team NEO, where he helped attract new businesses to Ohio and supported the expansion of existing companies. He guided projects through site selection, incentives, and implementation, and developed incentive recommendations for JobsOhio. He previously served as an Economic Development Specialist with the City of Cleveland’s Department of Economic Development, managing the city’s Industrial Commercial Landbank and advancing brownfield sites through remediation and redevelopment. Dan holds a Master of Urban Planning and Development from Cleveland State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian from The Ohio State University.
Dan is an active community leader, serving as a Board Member and Treasurer of Plexus, an LGBTQ and Allied Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders Class of 2026.
