Colin joined The Port as Senior Government and Community Affairs Associate, supporting the External Affairs team in advancing the organization’s government relations and community engagement efforts. In this role, Colin tracks legislative and policy activity at the local, state, and federal levels, prepares policy briefings, and supports advocacy initiatives. He also plays a key role in coordinating stakeholder outreach, public-facing events, and engagement strategies, working closely with internal teams to ensure communications and external efforts are aligned with project timelines and organizational priorities.

Colin brings a background in political strategy, government relations, and communications, with experience supporting campaigns and public-sector initiatives across the region. Most recently, he served as Political Director at Good Government Group LLC, where he managed and supported a range of campaigns across local and state levels, contributing to messaging strategy, fundraising efforts, and digital communications. He also previously served as a Mayoral Aide and Schedule Coordinator in the City of Cincinnati’s Mayor’s Office, where he supported daily operations, coordinated constituent communications, and assisted with policy initiatives and media efforts. 

Colin is a graduate of Xavier University, where he earned a double major in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Political Communications. Originally from Columbus, Colin has a strong interest in public service and contributing to the growth & success of the region. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, creating Spotify playlists, spending time with his family, golfing, and unfortunately cheering for the Reds, Browns, and Xavier.
