Bethany Ruff
Vice President & Controller
Bethany joined The Port in July 2026 as Vice President and Controller, bringing deep financial expertise to support the organization’s mission of community revitalization and economic growth. In this role, she oversees financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls, ensuring the fiscal integrity that underpins The Port’s impact across Greater Cincinnati.
Her previous experience includes serving as Technical Accounting Director at CECO Environmental Corp., where she led global consolidation and managed SEC reporting requirements including quarterly, annual, and current filings. Prior to that, she spent eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, most recently serving as Assurance Manager, leading audits of public and non-public companies under both US GAAP and IFRS standards. A University of Cincinnati graduate with a BBA in Accounting from the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS program, Bethany is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys, reading, and cheering for Cincinnati sports.
