Cintrifuse Leader to Join The Port’s Executive Leadership Team

Cincinnati, OH, August 22, 2025 – Cintrifuse and The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (The Port) are pleased to announce that on September 2, 2025, Nikki Boehmker, Executive Director of Cintrifuse, will be joining The Port’s leadership team as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In her new role, Ms. Boehmker will utilize her expertise to lead The Port’s financial strategy, guiding long-term planning and investment decisions to support the organization’s continued growth and impact. Her leadership will be instrumental as The Port develops a robust capital strategy to advance its work in transforming broken real estate into opportunities for employment and housing.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Nikki and the depth of experience she brings to our team,” said Laura N. Brunner, President and CEO of The Port. “As we shape our 2026 Strategic Plan and build a financial framework that strongly supports our ambitious goals, I’m confident she is going to add tremendous value to this significant work,” she added.

Ms. Boehmker joins The Port after four years of driving innovation and impact at the intersection of startups, investment, and regional strategy. In addition to refining internal systems and ensuring operational excellence, Nikki’s leadership was instrumental in shaping Cintrifuse’s long-term strategy and expanding its footprint as a convener of the innovation ecosystem.

“Nikki’s leadership helped take Cintrifuse to a new level of strategic and operational excellence,” said J.B. Kropp, CEO of Cintrifuse and Managing Director of Cintrifuse Capital. “She was a driving force behind several of our most impactful initiatives, and she leaves Cintrifuse stronger than she found it. We’re excited to see her bring that same impact to The Port.”

“I’m proud of the work we did at Cintrifuse,” said Nikki Boehmker. “This next chapter with The Port is an exciting opportunity to keep building for the region through a different lens.”

Prior to her time at Cintrifuse, she spent more than 15 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Cincinnati, where she served as a director in the audit practice. There, she led integrated audits for large publicly traded companies and served as a regional audit quality leader.

She is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio.
