Notice of application for U.S. EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant

The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (Port Authority) is applying for a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant for funding of proposed remediation activities at the former Hudepohl Brewery located at 801 West 6th Street in the Queensgate neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The proposed remediation will likely include asbestos abatement of the structures. The application will be submitted to the EPA on or before December 19, 2014.

A public meeting regarding this application will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4pm – 5pm at the Main Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, 800 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH, meeting room 3B, to discuss the grant application.
