The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority owns and is redeveloping 2100 Section Road in Amberley Village. This 56-acre redevelopment represents the inaugural project for the Port Authority’s industrial redevelopment strategy to repurpose 500 acres by 2022. Project funders include JobsOhio ($2,267,000), Hamilton County ($2,000,000), and Amberley Village ($180,000).

The Port Authority will demolish, remediate and clear the site for future development by a company or end user.

  • Largest available development ready industrial site in Hamilton County within the I-275 Loop
  • Completion of site work estimated for April 2017. Property marketing targeted for future redevelopment with Amberley Village.

2100 Section Rd

2100 Section Road site

Historically, 2100 Section Road is the former location of the Gibson Greeting Cards headquarters and manufacturing facility. Gibson moved onto the property in 1957, and was the industrial anchor and major employer of Amberley Village for decades. Gibson Greetings shuttered the facility in the late 1990s.

The Port Authority acquired the property in June 2016. The Port Authority’s Industrial Revitalization Strategy is focused on re-purposing real estate that, in its current condition, does not yield maximum return to the community. Our strategic investments are designed to increase the region’s site inventory and ability to meet demand by next-generation, advanced manufacturing operations.
